My experience is both extensive and varied. I have worked for both the private and not-for-profit sector. My career started working with a major bank in Toronto Canada. I worked 16 years at the bank in various positions where I gained valuable experience serving customers and project management. My positions included: Customer Service Representative in a branch and Visa department, Workforce Management Analyst, Assistant Area Manager, Project Leader, and Senior Product Analyst.
After working for the bank I launched my own Dating Events business. This means that I am not only experienced in running a business, but I also understand the challenges small business owners face. I get it ... I know what you are going though and I am here to help.
I have worked for several not-for-profit businesses in Coordinator roles where I grew to understand how to effectively manage a business with limited funds and time. I continued to hone my skills of effectively organizing, prioritizing and planning work.
Volunteering is a big part of my life. I believe that you get out of life and community what you give into it. Currently I am:
- Big Sister to a precious young girl with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley.
- President of the Board for the Mill Bay Tennis Club.
- Past President of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley.
- Volunteer with the Mill Bay/Malahat Historical Society.
